The Operator (DESFA SA) provides transmission services, through the Natural Gas Transmission System, in the most cost–effective, transparent and direct way, without any discrimination between the Users and the Users Categories.
The Transmission Services include:
A) The Reception, by the Operator, of Natural Gas Quantity from one or more Entry Points.
B) The Transmission of Natural Gas Quantity through the NGTS.
C) The Delivery of Natural Gas Quantity by the Operator at one or more Exit Points.
D) The execution of all necessary measurements using the metering equipment at the Entry and Exit Points.
For the provision of Transmission Services the Users shall enter into a Natural Gas Transmission Agreement with the Operator.
Those agreements (Transmission Agreements) are signed between the Operator (DESFA SA) and entities that have been registered into the NNGS Users’ Registry, as per article 13 of the Law 3428/2005, for a minimum contract period of one (1) Day, in accordance with the Standard Transmission Agreement, where the contracting procedure, the contents as well as the terms for accessing the NGTS are specified.
For the signing of the Natural Gas Transmission Agreement the Users submit to the Operator an Application for the Provision of Natural Gas Transmission Services followed by the documents and data defined in the Standard Transmission Agreement.
The Operator decides on the application within ten (10) working days since the reception of the relevant folder. Within the aforementioned deadline, the Operator invites the applicant to submit additional data, in case omissions are verified.
